North Peace Savings and Credit Union offers annual bursaries to assist students graduating from schools in the communities we serve to further their education through a recognized college, university or vocational institute for a period of not less than one full academic year.
Applicants must submit a handwritten letter of 300 words or less to the Social Responsibility Committee stating why the bursary should be awarded to them. The closing date for submitting applications to the Social Responsibility Committee is May 1st.
The bursaries are available to high school students who are attending post secondary school and to post secondary school students who are continuing their education. If you are interested in more information regarding North Peace Savings and Credit Union's annual bursaries please e-mail us and request a copy of the bursaries policy.
Places of worship, businesses, and professional and social clubs often support area college students. Ask your church and any organizations to which you or your parents belong, as well as any companies where you or your parents regularly do business. These grants are often small, but they can add up.
One important note: There are scholarship scams out there. Never pay money for information about scholarship opportunities!
